Baby A

April 2015 we will be welcoming the newest addition to our family and adventure, Baby A!  Jeremy and I try to live a simple, ecological, community driven lifestyle and would like for Baby A to grow up learning these same values.  It is easy to go to a store and buy things brand-new, however, we are choosing to find the majority of things that our baby will need second-hand.  This not only gives life to old things, but enables us to met other parents and hear their stories.

Things we will be looking for on Craigslist/Second-hand/Hand-made:

- cloth diapers

- clothing

- toys/books
- baby backpack/carrier
- play pen (portable)
- bike trailer

- Alva cloth diapers (6)+12pads - $30
- high chair (from a friend)
- baby swing (from a friend)
- stroller (consignment shop - from Pat)
- jumping johnny (consignment shop - from Pat)

Things we plan on buying new (we are registered at Target):

- mattress for crib (have)

- car seat (infant/convertible)

- toiletries (soap,lotion,wipes,etc)

- first aid tools (thermometer, snotsucker, medicine,etc)

- pacifiers
- bottle nipples
